Jesse Ventura Files Lawsuit, Sues T.S.A. and Dept. of Homeland Security
The former Governor of Minnesota, Jesse Ventura, is suing the Department of Homeland Security. Ventura claims TSA’s full-body scans and airport pat-downs have violated his privacy rights.
The former Governor filed the suit Monday in District Court and KSTP news, a local news agency reported the event. The complaint alleges Ventura was subjected to “warrantless rubbing of the genitals” when a TSA agent conducted a pat-down search in November at a Minneapolis Airport.
The lawsuit argues the searches are “unwarranted and unreasonable intrusions on Governor Ventura’s personal privacy and dignity, and are a justifiable cause for him to be concerned.”
The lawsuit states Ventura had a “hip replacement” in 2008, a incident in which he received a titanium plate in his hip. As a consequence of the surgery, every time he passes through an airport screening magnometer, the device’s alarm is set off by the presence of titanium in his body. In turn, Ventura must submit to a full body pat-down or be scanned.
Airline passengers including Governor Ventura are required to comply with TSA’s regulations and procedures before entering designated areas in certain airports inside the United States.
Jesse Ventura’s attorney, David Olsen, told KSTP news “The security procedures are going too far. There’s a line somewhere and he believes that line has been crossed.”
A TSA spokesman stated the agency “does not comment on pending litigation.”

It is about time that someone took a stance against the tso, no better person then Jesse.
if we have to defeat the terrorists by having our balls rubbed by some tsa agent who has the expertise of a gorilla and the mentality of a stone, so be it–we aren’t capable of thinking or acting on our own–the government has to protect us…from ourselves–
